Building upon the experiences with SATURN-MC, SATGPU replaces the use of multi-threaded processors with the highly-parallelised Graphical Processing Units (GPUs) that provide substantial increases in general compute capability through NVIDIA®’s CUDA™ parallel computing and programming model. It was first released in October 2018 for external users to test under the SATURNnext programme. See Section 15.XX.
